How to Split a LINE Sticker Sheet into Individual Stickers

A step-by-step walkthrough for turning one grid image into clean, separate sticker PNGs.

Tutorial

If you have downloaded or designed a sticker sheet — a single image with many stickers arranged in a neat grid — you still need to break it into individual files before you can upload them to LINE. Doing that by hand in an image editor is slow and error-prone. This guide shows the fast, reliable way.

What is a sticker sheet?

A sticker sheet is one large image that contains several stickers laid out in rows and columns, usually separated by transparent or white gaps. Artists often export their whole set this way because it is easier to design and preview. LINE, however, wants each sticker as its own file.

Why manual cropping is painful

Split a sheet in 4 steps

Using the HailouTec Sticker Cutter, the whole job takes under a minute:

1. Upload the sheet

Open the cutter and choose your sheet image. PNG is best because it keeps transparency. The image is processed entirely in your browser — it never leaves your device.

2. Set or auto-detect the grid

Type the number of rows and columns if you know them. If the sheet has clean gaps between stickers, switch on “cut along gaps” and let the tool detect the real row/column boundaries from the transparent or white spaces. This is the trick that stops misalignment when cells are not perfectly even.

3. Preview and fix

Each cell is shown as a thumbnail. You can drag to reorder, exclude a bad frame, or rotate one that came out sideways. The on-screen overlay also draws exactly where the cuts will fall on your original, so you can confirm before exporting.

4. Export

Download a single sticker, or pack everything into one ZIP. If you plan to upload to LINE, tick “LINE spec” so every file is scaled and centered to 320×320 and the required main.png and tab.png are generated for you.

Frequently asked

Do I need to install anything?

No. The cutter runs in any modern browser, on desktop or phone, with no login and no install.

Will my image be uploaded?

No. Cutting, preview, and download all happen on your device. See the privacy policy for details.

What if my sheet has uneven cells?

Use “cut along gaps” mode. It measures the actual spaces between stickers rather than assuming a uniform grid, so irregular layouts still split cleanly.
