Step 1 — Capture the drawing
Two routes:
- Paper sketch: photograph it in flat, even light. Avoid shadows and angled shots; shoot straight-on.
- Digital drawing: export the file from your drawing app at high resolution.
Either way, start with a clean, high-res source so the lines stay sharp.
Step 2 — Crop to the art
Load the image into the cutter and crop tightly around the drawing. Drop the page edges, grid lines, or empty margins. Leave a small padding so the lines are not clipped.
Step 3 — Clean the background
